Monday Musings

What a beautiful service yesterday. A special thanks to our prayer team that COVERED the service in prayer. So many people got prayed for and blessed. It was amazing to see that so many people didn’t want to leave the service, but kept on worshiping. I actually had to tell Nathan to stop worshiping because our Korean friends had a service at 1 PM. What a great way to wind up our Myth-busters series. I hope you felt blessed.

So, I spent today hauling bags of clothing and hangers up the stairs at Southpointe. Thanks to Chris Scheele who stopped by to help us. He was a beast. We moved all of the clothing from the C-Bin upstairs. Let me say this: there is SO MUCH clothing. If there is any way that you can stop by on Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM to help out sorting, please do…we need you. I’m really looking forward to “Christmas with Style” next Sunday morning. Let’s all really step up. This is going to be such an amazing event. I still need more GUYS to step up to set-up/take-down. Call me!

We had such a good staff retreat last week. We left on Sunday night and spent 2 days at Roy and Heather Gritter’s cabin. Thank you, guys! We played games. We listen to music. We walked in the beautiful weather. It was fantastic!  We also had a chance to really pray for each other and share our ministry priorities moving forward. Next year, I have to bring more food. Nathan and Byron can really chow down 😊
