I don’t know about you, but Sharon and I always struggle at this time of the year with the whole present buying thing. First of all, our kids already have EVERYTHING they could ever want. I asked Hillary in the car on the way to school this morning if there was something she wanted for Christmas and she couldn’t think of anything. So, if she can’t think of anything, how am I suppose to? Second, we have six kids so the challenge is always multiplied by six. Third, why should we spend any more money on ourselves when there are so many people around the world in need. And yet, as parents, if there aren’t a few gifts under the tree on Christmas Eve, we feel guilty. Maybe we’ll just buy everyone some underwear and socks and be done with it. Don’t tell them, ok?
God in the Movies is pretty much set to go. Here’s the line-up starting on January 8th: BFG, Spotlight, Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Revenant and Arrival. Guess which one Luke is doing.
