We’re only a week away from Road to Reconciliation. Ticket sales this year have been a bit of a challenge. I’m not sure why. This event is out there on a variety of internet platforms and has been networked fairly well. For those of you who are reluctant to go because…well…. you’ve heard all this before and…well…. it’s a hopeless situation and…. well…. how many times do we have to apologize for something that we didn’t do and well….. stop it! Remember, apathy is not the solution. Apathy never changed anything. Get up, get informed. This is OUR local social justice issue here in Canada. As people who love Jesus and believe in reconciliation, we ought to be the first that step up in this area. Ok….rant officially over.
Is anyone here as worried as me about what might happen in the aftermath of the American election. The rhetoric is downright scary. I saw a guy on CNN that was saying that the Bible has predicted an apocalypse of this kind and therefore it was inevitable if Hillary got elected. Oh my! Can I encourage you to pray for this situation? May peace prevail. May life prevail.
